Sailfish take 2nd place at 17^th Mark Braun Meet in Cleveland

The JCC Sailfish swimmers were sailing through the water at the Mark Braun Meet in Cleveland over the November 20 – 22 weekend, giving the host Lake Erie Silver Dolphins a close run for the first place team title. Final team scores were (AMS teams in bold):

Allegheny North 671.5

Star Swimming (Buffalo) 556

Solon Stars 329

Upper Saint Clair 322

Springfield YMCA 305

Fox Chapel Killer Whales 289

All those points were racked up by the tremendous number of excellent individual races and relays, summarized below:

10 Individual first places

5 Relay first places

116 Top ten finishes

Even though this was not a shave-and-taper meet, the US Group had 46 individual best times.

The PA Group had 97 best times out of 130 total swims: 75%
